For over ten years, Belle has lead collaborative, socially-engaged public art projects that respond to a specific time and space. She is interested in creating spaces where print, protest, people, plants and places overlap. Her work crosses media and addresses subjects as diverse as the media, finance, value, food and medicine. Belle is interested in the the crossroads where policy-making meets the living room, she works back and forth between the personal and the political.

Belle’s current work explores ways in which we can build resilience to austerity and the ongoing assault on our natural environment by developing the relationship between the plants that grow around us (or that we cultivate), our bodies and well‐being.
